ABOUT ICISG

The International Cancer Information Services Group (ICISG) is a network of Cancer Information Services around the world, working under the auspices of the Union international contre le cancer (UICC)

The International Cancer Information Services Group (ICISG) was formally established in Melbourne Australia in 1996 at the First UICC World Cancer Conference. The ICISG represents 27 countries around the world that deliver Cancer Information Services or who want to develop and influence the quality of Cancer Information Services. The network of members dates back to the 1970's and since then assistance has been given to many countries as they have planned and opened cancer information services. As a result of collaborative efforts following the 1st and 2nd UICC World Cancer conference in Melbourne and Atlanta, the International Cancer Information Services Group (ICISG) was established and is embarking on exciting promotional and educational strategies to support cancer information and support services developments at the international level.
