ANA OLIVERA, MBA

Manager, Patient Services and Relay for Life
International Union Against Cancer (UICC)

With higher studies in economics and marketing from her native Mexico and New York City, Ana Olivera has spent most of her professional career in marketing and communications in the private sector. After earning her MBA degree from the University of Geneva, Ana became involved in the not-for-profit sector when she joined the UICC as coordinator of ‘Relay for Life”, the largest fundraising event in the world.

Touched by cancer through her immediate family, Ana developed a special interest in education and patient services. She is encouraged by sharing of knowledge, raising awareness and the development of resources to ensure that patients and their families have a strong voice and a better quality of life. Fluent in Spanish, English and French, Ana has lived in Mexico, United States, Argentina and Switzerland.
