1. Opening remarks and adoption of minutes of meeting

Anne V welcomed everyone and introduced the agenda.
The minutes of the April 11, 2008 meeting were approved. Irene M. will send to ICISG members by listserv and will post on the ICISG website.

2. CIS course

All PowerPoint presentations and course materials to be sent to Marion Morra by June 15, 2008.
Ana O. will advise as soon as possible about a potential sponsor for course.
All members will arrive in Geneva by August 26 for a workshop rehearsal. Silvia D will advise where the rehearsal will be held.

3. UICC Congress 2008

The ICISG AGM will be held at the Crown Plaza on August 28th at 5PM. The AGM will sponsored by the Swiss Cancer League. Bruno Meili will give the opening remarks.
The American Cancer Society is sponsoring the ICISG reception following the AGM. Marion Morra will give the opening remarks.
Board members will forward all information on CIS posters, oral presentations etc. being held at the UICC congress to Irene M as soon as possible for the ICISG program.
The ICISG Board meeting will be held on Friday August 29th 2008 at noon at the Crown Plaza.
The CIS plenary will be on Saturday, August 30th at 2:15PM
Roshini G. will prepare a sign up sheet for members to cover the ICISG exhibit. Chris T. has ‘give-aways’ and a backdrop for the ICISG display booth. .Ana O will advise location on exhibit.

4. Governance

Board members will send in nominations forms to Irene M
If anyone is interested in being elected to VP of ICISG, please let Anne V and Chris T. know. Election of Vice-President will be held on August 29, 2008 at the ICISG Board meeting.

5. Collaboration

Anne V. informed the Board that she, Chris T, Cora H, Silvia D and the new VP, will attend a meeting with European Cancer League on August 29 immediately after the Board of Directors meeting. They will report back to the ICISG Board.
The Board approved the proposal of collaboration with the American Cancer Society as revised.

6. Secretariat report

The ICISG Board approved the applications for membership from the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre, National Cancer Center, Japan, and the National Cancer Society of Malaysia.
