WHAT WE DO

The International Cancer Information Service Group (ICISG) is pursuing its goals through working groups. In the next year, the focus will be on:

• Promotion: Sharing who we are and what we do with other countries.
• Collaboration: Identifying organizations that wish to start a CIS and helping them find the mentors and the tools they need.
• CIS tool box: Develop a web-based tool with approach, tips and resources on how to start a CIS. Jointly branded with UICC, this tool will be launched at the Global Cancer Conference in Washington, USA, July 2006.
• ICISG Faculty: develop a course, workshops, plenary and exhibition for the next Global Cancer Conference in Washington, USA, July 2006.
