TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
There are many benefits to becoming a member of the ICISG:
- Access to, and sharing of resources.
- Opportunities to knowledge, skill share and network.
- International exchange programs.
- Participate in a listserv
We have three types of membership available.:
Full member – Organizations that:
- Demonstrate they have established an evidence-based CIS
- Submit a copy of their philosophy, mission statement, goals, core
principles and service rationale
- Meet ICISG Minimum Standards, as confirmed by a majority vote of
ICISG Board
Associate member – Organizations that:
- Are working towards establishing a CIS
- Submit a copy of their philosophy, mission statement, goals, core
principles and service rationale within 3 years of application.
Expert member – Individuals that:
- Demonstrate more than 5 years experience of involvement with an established
CIS
- Submit a portfolio of experience and expertise
- Demonstrate a commitment to sharing expertise and furthering ICISG
goal
Members of ICISG must follow ICISG minimum
quality standards and operational
guidelines for their cancer information.
