Qu’est ce qu’un Service d’information sur le cncer (Cancer Information Service CIS)?
Un service d’information sur le cancer met à disposition des information sur le cancer et propose des services de soutien aux personnes atteintes de cancer, àleurs families et àleurs proches, ainsi qu’au grand public et aux spécialistes. Des professionnels de la santé formés à la communication proposent des entretiens individuels par téléphone, courriel, Internet, ’chat’, ou en tête à tête. Le service est gratuit et anonyme.

Le Groupe de Service International d’Information sur le Cancer (GSIIC)
Fondé en 1996, le Groupe de Service International d’Information sur le Cancer (GSIIC) est un réseau de plus de 45 organisations à travers le monde qui fournit des informations liées au cancer. Les membres partagent informations, expertise et viennent en aide aux groupes intéressés à débuter un programme SIC.

The ICISG is offering a pre-congress workshop on August 27, 2008, from 9am – 5pm prior to the UICC World Cancer Congress in Geneva, Switzerland.

This workshop is for those who are starting a cancer information service or who want to enhance their existing CIS. Attendance is limited to 50 participants. Pre-registration is required by downloading the registration form as a Word document and emailing it to info@icisg.org.
