Ein Krebsinformationsdienst stelit Betroffenen, ihren Angehörigen und Freunden, Fashpersonen und der interessierten Öffentlichkeit Informationen zu Kerbs und Unterstützungsangeboten zur Verfügung. Ausgebildete Informationspezialistinnen und –spezialisten beraten am Telefon, per E-Mail und Chat im persönlichen Gespräch. Das Angebot ist kostenlos und vertraulich.

Was ist die Internationale Gruppe der Kerbsinformationsdienste?
Die intnernationale Gruppe der Kerbsinformationsdienste (ICISG) wurde 1996 gegründet. Sie ist ein Netzwerk von mehr als 45 Organisationen, die informationen über Kerbs anbieten. Ihre Mitgliender stellen sich gegenseitig Informationn und Fachwissen zur Verfügung und unterstützen Organisationen und Gruppen, die selber einen Kerbsinformationsdienst aufbauen möchten.

The ICISG is offering a pre-congress workshop on August 27, 2008, from 9am – 5pm prior to the UICC World Cancer Congress in Geneva, Switzerland.

This workshop is for those who are starting a cancer information service or who want to enhance their existing CIS. Attendance is limited to 50 participants. Pre-registration is required by downloading the registration form as a Word document and emailing it to info@icisg.org.
